Best Disco Lights Under $100 on Amazon

If you are just starting out as a mobile DJ or want a party light to jazz up your snazzy bar with, then this Hub will definitely point you in the right direction.

Depending on what your actually looking for in a disco light, its easy to pick up a big bulky cheap light that doesn't really produce much light, color or patterns and can be extremely boring to watch.

Ideally you want a cost effective light, like any of the LED based party lights on the market today. With all LED lighting units, you get up to 100,000 hours usage and with no maintenance cycles or procedures. In the unlikely event that an LED was to blow, you probably wouldn't even notice and would have no effect on the rest of the LEDs or the function of the unit.

As you can imagine the choice of disco lights for under $100 is quite limited, with many poor inferior lights on the market.

I've done my best to select the pick of the bunch, finding the party lights which still provide a great effect despite their low price point. Here they are in no particular order.

This is a dual-panning, mirrored, LED Moonflower effect disco light.

This disco light produces some amazing colors and effects, quite mesmerizing to watch. Unlike a lot of similar lights, the DJ Reflex covers a vast open area with sharp, clear, colorful patterns on the dance floor, walls and ceilings.

Its easy to use and install with its hanging bracket and sound activated programs. The unit will work best if situated between 6 and 7 feet from the ground, so a lighting bar will be needed. The DJ Reflex works straight from the box and even has its own circuit breaker which you don't see on many other disco lights.

I would recommend the DJ Reflex as part of a pair, one each side of a mobile disco set-up will look awesome!

This is a colored effect light with scanning mirror.

The DJ Electra disco light uses 46 LEDs in total (16 red, 15 green & 15 blue). Like the DJ Reflex, the DJ Electra produces bright, clear and colorful beams of light across a vast open space. Unlike the DJ Reflex, the Electra is only a single-panning unit but still has a huge impression on the eye in a similar way.

This party light can be used all night long and not over heat, again thanks to the LEDs and new lens technology. In addition to this, many similar units can be linked together via DMX in a single circuit.

The American DJ Electra can also be used straight from the box and is extremely light weight at 5 lbs (2.4 kgs).

Again, I would recommend this disco light to be used as a pair, one either side of any DJ set-up or bar.

Is a color changing effect disco light.

The American DJ Mini Tri Ball disco light only uses 2 x 3 watt 3-in-1 RGB (red, green, blue LEDS, hence “TRI Color".

The Mini Tri Ball produces 56 beams of light and a whooping 7 different colors (red, green, blue, yellow, purple, cyan and white). The beams of light cover 180 degrees and spins at 15 RPM.

Like the DJ Reflex and DJ Electra the DJ Mini Tri Ball is easy to use and install, can run all night and has no maintenance cycle. The Tri Ball would look great as a center piece to mobile disco set-up or any lighting rig.

The Mini Tri Ball is also super light weight at 4 lbs (1.6kg) and is 7.75” x 7.75” x 6” (LxWxH) in diameter, this unit is easy to transport and store.
